V Thulasidas, the managing director of Kannur International Airport Limited (KIAL) has resigned from the post. He handed over the resignation to Minister K Babu, in charge of the airport. The government had the other day cancelled the consultancy deal of the company. The controversies which broke out following the cancellation of the consultancy is the reason cited for the resignation.
